tourist destination
for visitors to Mt
Kinabalu Park.
Kundasang valleys are agriculture farming of fresh vegetables and flowers. It is just a 6 kilometers away from Kinabalu Park Head Office. High altitude here at about 1800m, the temperature is cool and comfortable. For its cool surrounding, many visitors chose to stay here for a night during their vacation to Sabah. Vegetable market is Kudasang's famous shopping attraction, supplying wholesale greens for major towns in Sabah. The valleys of Kundasang are lined with farms along the hill slopes that grow cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, corn, radish, turnip, cauliflower, spinach, and other leafy vegetables. The stalls of the vegetable market are arranged in a neat row along the left side of the main road towards Ranau from Kinabalu Park, just next to the center of Kundasang town. Besides vegetables, ornamental plants and flowers such as roses are sold in abundant numbers. |
