Kinabalu National Park
On the way we stopped at Kundasang town to buy fruits. Yin selected Lunggen (Rm5.00), I selected 5 big mengo (Rm8.00) while Xing selected Wild Rambutan (Rm4.00) and he kept some to bring back to Tawau for his mother to try.

 

Opposit D'Villa across the highway is an ambitious project underway - The Royal Kinabalu Mountain Resort.

This new resort is the brainchild of  developer Gerald and Francis Goh of the Kinasabina Group, an emerging new developer company in Sabah. Kinasabina Group is the developer for several notable commercial development in Sabah such as the Putatan Platinum Plaza, the Kionsom Country Heights housing and the Donggongon Square Commercial Shoplots.

This new Royal Kinabalu Mountain Resort will be a 5 star resort. Located on 800 meters from Kinabalu Park Headquarter a mear 20 minutes walk. There will be 100 hotel rooms and 300 suites in the resort. A grand ballroom of 800 seating capacity. 4 meeting rooms. 3 function halls. A perfect venue for a wedding events.

The Royal Kinabalu Mountain Resort's complex will comprise of 3 main blocks:

1) the oval-shaped Block Disentra,

2) the curvilinear Block Aster and Block Begonia,

3) the rectangular Block Chrysanthemum

One entire block of 110 suites was sold to investors from Indonesia and Brunei.
